Brendan O’Connor Webster- President

I started my practice in Los Altos, CA in 1981, providing individual treatment to clients, but always felt that for the very young child, group, play treatment was the key to language, speech and motor development. Now, in Loyola Corners in Los Altos, at the Hub in Fremont, CA, and in downtown San Jose, CA, the dream of providing the community with Early Intervention Clinics is a reality.
On May 4, 1999, our clinics were certified as Rehabilitation Agencies. This certification allows us to follow yet another dream, that of providing services to the adult population and to individuals who have sustained neurogenic traumas resulting in speech, language, and movement disorders. We are excited about the programs that are forthcoming to serve this population.

All three clinics have a wonderful staff of very knowledgeable licensed and certified speech and language therapists and occupational therapists. They continue to provide individual treatment across the broad spectrum of communication and movement disorders.

Pouneh Azadi- Head Teacher

As the head teacher in our program, Pouneh Azadi is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula. As a mother and a teacher she has educated herself to understand children’s needs and is committed to making a difference in children’s lives by applying her knowledge and her willingness to learn more. She is a certified teacher in the field of Early Childhood Education and has more than six years experience working with children. She also has a BA in English and currently is a psychology major in Hayward University and on her way to becoming a Family Therapist.

Yikes Tikes! Teachers

All teachers’ assistants come to Yikes Tikes! with college degrees and/or have a background in working with children of different ages. Assistants are always enthusiastic, caring, gentle and consistent.
