yikes tikes! provides a nurturing and safe environment for children between the ages of 2 and 4 years, nine months. This is a play-based and language-enriched program which offers children the opportunity to learn practical tools to confidently explore group interactions and discover new concepts through play.

In yikes tikes! we believe in creating a firm foundation for children's confidence by offering each child the right tools to establish effective social skills. In order to accomplish such goals, our dedicated staff members help children through conflicts and encourage them to express their needs verbally, while teaching them effective negotiation skills. Our 1:4 teacher/child ratio for all of our age groups draws a bold line between y ikes tikes! and other programs as it maximizes the individual attention that each child deserves to receive while attending preschool.

At yikes tikes! children explore creative themes related to activities of daily life such as language, interactions between self and others, properties and functions of objects, movement, time, and physical space. This is an indoor program in which children engage in a variety of hands-on and self-directed activities which support the idea that children learn by doing.
